Pumpkin Spice Cinnamon Roll Recipe

When I started seeing the viral Tik Tok cinnamon rolls in my newsfeed over the summer, I knew I had to take it up a notch with Pumpkin Spice once October hit! And October is here & I love this season and thought that it would be the perfect time to make these viral rolls.

Here’s how I make these Fall Inspired Cinnamon Rolls…

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of ready to bake 5 cinnamon rolls
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • Splash of vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 block of cream cheese (4 oz.)

Instructions:

  1. Open 1 can of ready to bake cinnamon rolls. I used Pilsbury Grands with 5 rolls.
  2. Place rolls in baking dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, add 4 tablespoons of pumpkin puree, a splash of vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, a pinch of salt, cinnamon, melted butter, and brown sugar.
  4. Spread the pumpkin mixture over the rolls evenly.
  5. Drizzle heavy cream over and outsides of the rolls.
  6. Bake at 350* for 27 minutes. Check to make sure the dough is fully cooked in the middle. Sometimes they may need an extra minute or two.
  7. While cinnamon rolls are baking, whip cream cheese and icing together with a mixer.
  8. When your rolls are done baking, let them rest for a minute or 2, and then spread the icing on top. I like mixing the cream cheese with the icing because it helps cut the overall sweetness of the rolls but makes them more decadent. If you’d like, you can omit the cream cheese and just use the icing that comes with the cinnamon rolls. It’s great this way as well!
