My butter noodles came out literal PERFECTION while using the pans, like seriously the sauce is so creamy, it will become your new favorite dish!
Ingredients:
- 1lb. Spaghetti, Lingini, or Fettuccine
- 6-7 tbls. Grass-Fed Pure Butter
- 2 cups super finely grated Parmesan cheese (do not buy the pre-grated packaged kind)
- 1/2 cup salty/starchy cooking water from your pasta
Instructions:
- Heat water in a pot until it comes to a rapid boil
- Cut up butter & grate cheese
- Once boiling, Add a handful of salt to the water
*Note: The water must be at a rapid boil or the salt will scar the bottom of your pot* - Drop in pasta and cook for 2 minutes less than the package directions
- In a sauté pan, on medium-low heat, drop in butter
- When pasta is done, use a coffee mug or measuring cup with handle to reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water
- Use tongs to transfer cooked pasta from pot to sauce pan.
*Note: It’s fine if more water is getting in the pan. This will help emulsify the sauce.* - Add in half of the cheese
- Use a wooden spoon to vigorously incorporate the pasta, butter, cheese
- At this point, start to add splashes of the pasta water from the mug and continue stirring
- Keep stirring until all ingredients have some together and your desired consistency has been achieved
- Top with the rest of the cheese and enjoy!
Tips:
- You must heavily salt your roiling boiling water right before you drop your pasta in
- Make sure to finely grate your block of good quality Parmesan cheese. If you don’t, the cheese will not melt properly and the sauce consistency will be off
Then you can make this super easy yummy meal complete with a salad and your favorite glass of wine! Your dinner will be ready to be enjoyed by the whole family & you deserve that glass of wine or two (I won’t tell, haha).
